Pollinators & Native Plant Installation: Roots of Renewal
We are so excited to invite you to an amazing community event happening this Saturday, and we need your help to make it a success!
Join us for Pollinators & Native Plant Installation: Roots of Renewal, a hands-on project focused on strengthening our creekbanks, reducing erosion, and building stronger connections between nature and our school community. This event is in partnership with Grow North Texas and The Giving Grove, and is funded through the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Five Star Grant Program.
We will be working together to plant native species that support pollinators, restore natural habitats, and help stabilize our creek area for years to come. It’s a meaningful way to care for our environment while working side-by-side as a school community.
Saturday, May 16
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Treetops Creekbank Area
We are calling all gardeners, nature lovers, school volunteers, families, and anyone who wants to be part of something positive and lasting. No experience is needed—just bring your energy, gloves if you have them, and a willingness to get a little dirty for a great cause!
Come be part of Roots of Renewal: Building Natural and Community Connections and help us leave a lasting impact on our campus.
We hope to see you there!
From Our Grounds to Your Home: Treetops Furniture Auction
If you’ve been waiting for your chance to own a one-of-a-kind piece built by Treetops students, that moment is here. Each item in this auction was crafted by the hands of our kids, shaped, sanded, and finished right here on campus, surrounded by the trees and the kind of learning that sticks with you long after school is out.
This isn’t furniture from a store. It’s a piece of Treetops. A conversation starter. A reminder of what young people are capable of when we give them real tools and real trust.
Some of you missed the last auction and told us you were heartbroken. We heard you. So here’s your chance.
Bidding is open now through Monday, May 18 at 11:59 PM. Every purchase directly supports our school and the programs that make moments like these possible.
Thank you for believing in what we’re building, in every sense of the word.
With gratitude,
Dr. James
